Calling In New Clients In The End-Of-Year-Season

There are 3 big mistakes that a lot of business owners make at the end of the year that can massively set you back.

1. Taking your foot off the accelerator too early

I’ve heard a few people saying in the last week that they’re not sure if they should wind down because it’s coming to the end of the year and maybe I shouldn’t run this campaign until next year. Maybe it’s better to wait.

Unless you’re nearing burn out, I think this is a massive mistake.

I know you’re probably excited to start your holiday…

But I want you to think about something.

Do your clients still need help from you right now?

Or are you going to make it a time to continue to clients with what they’re struggling with?

Are you going to slow down now and kind of dump everything in 2023 to deal with later?

Or are you going to finish the year strong and satisfied?

If you still have energy left in the tank…

…then the only time you stop marketing is when you want to stop getting clients, stop helping people and stop making money.

There are persistent thoughts that are going on in your potential client’s minds right now that you can help them with.

Marketing is always about joining the conversation that’s happening in their head right now. It’s been a big year for a lot of people.

And we want to tap into what they’re feeling and make sure you’re continuing to reach out and share great content and sign-up clients this season.

If you want more clients and cashflow by Christmas…

…you want to take action NOW (not wait until next year)…

So number one mistake – stopping too early and assuming everyone is too busy over December and January.

2. Not looking after your existing clients well

A lot of business owners think that once they’ve got a certain amount of paying clients, they need to focus most of their effort on finding new ones.

This is a mistake. The best clients are repeat clients. People will continue to be clients if you look after them well.

Set them up for a win at this time of year.

Continue to create great content for them. Continue to support them and inspire them and encourage them to have sessions with you and not get swept away with the busyness of this season.

In my inner circle community, I run weekly calls and fortnightly action sessions and in the final 2 weeks before Christmas we focus on reflecting on the year that’s been.

Celebrating our wins, planning and getting ready to hit the ground running in the new year.

3. Not setting up your marketing plan for next year, this year

And the third big mistake that I think hurts coaches a lot at this time of the year is not getting ready for next year this year.

In other words, not finishing this year with a plan for not just your first week back, but your first campaign that and a marketing calendar for the whole of next year.

In my inner circle community, we start planning our marketing calendars at the end of the year, so the first day back from holidays they can click go and roll it out.

In this video I share:

Calling In New Clients In The End-Of-Year-Season

I’m giving you 3 tools you need to get clients at this time of year, and to get set up and ready for next year so you can hit the ground running with a bang come January.

Calling In New Clients In The End-Of-Year Season

3 Things You Can Do To Call In Clients In The End-Of-Year-Season

1. Help people win

Right now at the end of the year, no matter what your niche is or where your market is everybody thinks the same thing. Over the next six or eight weeks, everyone’s going through the exact same thought process.

They’re going to realise that they didn’t hit all the goals they set.

About 95% of the population didn’t hit all of their goals – didn’t achieve everything they hoped for.

And they’re hoping that next year is better.

So, what we’re going to do is we’re tapping into that mindset and creating a version of that.

Create a vision event – an online event like a Facebook live video or a masterclass that taps into this idea of it’s been a big year – let’s do things differently next year.

In this event, create an emotional and mental desire to make next year better or to get a specific result.

Then offer a call with you.

2. Look after your existing clients

Run events such as:

  • Celebration
  • Review the year
  • Create a vision
  • Plan the following year
  • Plan the following quarter
  • Plan January

3. Set up your marketing plan for next year

This is a time of huge danger if you get this wrong and a huge opportunity if you get this right.

If you do this wrong and you take your foot off the accelerator too early, what happens is you lose all of the potential clients that you could have signed in the next few months.

If you get this right, you sign up a bunch of clients, you get them off to a really great start and you collect more money so you can finish the year really strong.

If you’ve spent any of this year kind of confused, and unsure about what to do – it’s probably because you didn’t plan the year at the start.

If you want help getting clients in this end-of-year season, and setting up your marketing, send me a PRIVATE MESSAGE with the word ‘CLIENTS’ and we can have a chat about how we can do it together.

How To Know If You’re Giving Too Much Value Away For Free

I’ve been asked this question a lot lately…

How do we know how much to share… without giving too much away?

We’re all told – give value, value, value!

What does giving value actually mean?

And how do you know if you’re giving away too much value for free?

How do we help people, without them feeling they don’t need to buy from us?

How do we share in a way that people think, “I need more from her?”

If we give people a sense that we’re giving them everything in our free content, people won’t buy from us.

Here are 3 powerful keys to knowing if you’re giving too much away…

1. You’re not highlighting the gap

I like to say ‘Show the gaps, don’t fill the gaps”

Our content needs to show people what they need and what’s missing.

This is super important.

When people are deciding what content they want to share, a lot of times think “What can I teach that’s valuable?”

Then they post it hoping it will lead to people wanting to work with them.

They hope that people will enjoy it and want MORE.

Rather than showing them what is missing.

And this leads to people consuming your content for free and not wanting to work with you.

2. You’re giving a banquet, not a taste

It’s so important that we show people what they DON’T know.

The way to overcome this is giving what I call value-voids.

Share value, leave a void.

content that converts is designed to BOTH relieve tension AND create tension.

False sense of solution I’m going to give you everything I know.

One of the pillars of my content formula is curiosity. If we give people a sense of resolution, we rob them of curiosity

3. You’re not using influence strategically

You need to learn how to use influence so that your content works.

When you learn the layers of how to do it – you can be so much more certain that your content will work.

It will do its job.

Infusing Influence into your content is thinking:

  • What do you want your content to do?
  • What do you want your topic to do?
  • What’s the purpose of the content?

In this video I share:

How to know if you’re giving away too much for free – and what to do about it.

You can check out the video here…

There’s a strategic way of adding value.

There’s an influential way to structure.

How to use headlines – there’s an approach. In my event, I go deeper.

Always work with contrast. This is what they do without thinking.

Value is not the thing…

…Not ONLY value – too much value…

“Value is not, here’s everything I know.”

Often – particularly as women we feel we need to prove our worth by giving so much value that we confuse teaching with value.

If you give everything away and they don’t act on it. Then you’re devaluing it and it’s not value.

You only know if something is good if you can compare them.

If you’re missing this one thing (tension)

What IS value?

Every time we teach something new there’s a responsibility to help someone apply. Otherwise, it fizzles out – and they don’t do it.

People think “oh cool I get this.”

Yet are you teaching them how to implement – and getting them excited to implement – and getting rid of the beliefs holding them back from implementation?

WHEN YOU GET THIS RIGHT

  1. People aren’t reaching out to you or responding to your emails or messages
  2. People tell you how valuable your content is, but don’t sign up for your program or offer

1. Show People

So, what are you actually selling then?

When you package your knowledge for sale, you’re actually offering 3 valuable components that are massively more valuable than just content.

I call these The 3 Essential C’s

  • Curriculum – The complete A to Z curriculum
  • Coaching – The coaching and guidance from you as an expert
  • Community – The support from a group of like-minded people doing the same journey

1. Curriculum – we know there’s a ton of information out there on the internet.

Having an A to Z journey is completely different. This enables you to trust the credibility

2. Offering all the content in one place with a logical, sequential approach that gives a specific outcome so people can’t get distracted or lost is extremely valuable.

People pay for a path.

3. Coaching – Let’s face it. There are so many questions like “Which headline is better.” Being able to ask an expert with experience and wisdom is priceless.

4. Community – No one wants to do it alone. When you create a thriving community – that’s what people want.

Influence is a craft you can learn.

If there’s one key point I want you to take away, it’s this:

When you know how to use elegant influence to create compelling content, your marketing becomes easier, faster, and more enjoyable, and you show up with more confidence.

You connect better with your ideal clients and attract more right clients into your business that you can help.

The good news is, it’s a skill that anyone can develop.

3 Ways To Attract Clients You LOVE Working With

I talk to a lot of people who are posting content regularly, but not attracting clients consistently.

Would you love to have people reaching out to you consistently, who you’d love to work with?

If you’re not getting people reaching out to work with you regularly, it’s often because there’s a disconnect between your content and your ideal client.

Which is a huge shame, because you have so much to offer. And some simple tweaks can make the world of difference to the people you reach and connect with.

Usually, the right people aren’t finding you because the language in your content isn’t communicated in a way that your ideal client resonates with. It doesn’t mean that what you’re saying isn’t brilliant and valuable.

It’s just not necessarily resonating.

In this blog, I share with you 3 ways to help you attract soul-mate clients you absolutely LOVE working with!

1 – Get Crystal Clear On Your Soul-Mate Client Profile

When your content doesn’t connect, in almost every case, it’s because you’re not crystal clear on who you’re speaking to.

This is something that if you don’t get right, nothing is going to work. I’ve got 21 main strategies in my system that I help people with to attract clients, and this is very first step.

If you don’t know exactly who you’re talking to, and you’re not really dialled in, and spending time imagining being your ideal client in your mind, then your content will not connect.

I know you might be sick of hearing this. But the reality is, most people think they are crystal clear about their soul-mate client, but they’re not. This is an incredibly subtle stumbling block that most coaches and experts have.

Often because we’ve heard a million times ‘You’ve got to niche’ and we’ve filled out an ideal client avatar questionnaire before, we think that the job is done. But it is not finished.

Understanding your ideal client is meant to be dynamic.

Understanding your ideal client is a dynamic process.

It’s like your marketing plan. It’s not something you should write once a year, but something you should constantly revisit and tweak as you evolve.

I understand if you’re struggling to go deeper with your niche. I completely relate.

My tools and skills are so diverse. I can work with clients from a very broad age and profile range. But I had to choose to really target my niche and direct my content.

A couple of years ago I started taking a different approach when it comes to defining my ideal client avatar. I went on a journey of defining my soul-mate client based on the milestones in their life journey, rather than their demographics.

I saw a post this morning from a lady who said:

“I have always found niching constricting and limiting. My being doesn’t want to fit the consumerist agenda, it’s here to help people heal and connect with themselves deeply on a divine level so they experience happiness and fulfillment. I want to help society heal its collective trauma so the desires they have align to their soul and are not fake, based on a system that means them harm.”

This lady was resistant to niching, but when I read what she shared, it’s clear that she does in fact have a niche, she just didn’t think of it that way and didn’t want to be boxed.

When you’re clear about who the people are that you can serve in the best and most enjoyable way, then you can make your message clear and attract them to you. That’s when you get heard by the people who need exactly what you offer. People pay attention, follow and work with you because they resonate with your message.

Christian Mickelsen shared a story of when he was in a conference room after the lunch break of one of his seminars. He went on the stage and asked the audience:

“Who wants dessert?” No one raised their hand – understandable, everyone had just come back from lunch.

Then he asked: “Who wants chocolate dessert?” About one-third of the audience raised their hands.

And his last question was: “Who wants dark chocolate soufflé with vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries?” This time more than half of the audience raised their hands.

The clarity of his message, with specific details, is what made the difference. When we’re clear on the benefits or pain points of what we offer, it helps us to be heard when we reach out to find the right clients using our content.

This doesn’t exclude us working with anybody who can benefit from our services, but we don’t market directly to those people.

2 – Spend Time In Your Ideal Client’s Mind Before Crafting Each Content Piece

How much time do you spend in your imagination, literally looking at the world from the perspective of your ideal client’s eyes? How long do you spend creating content that helps them with an existing problem they have?

Spend time hanging out in your imagination with your soul-mate client before you post content makes a significant difference.

What is your ideal client seeing, feeling, hearing and what are they saying to themselves?

What’s going through their mind and body as they go about their life?

What are they struggling with?

What are they saying to themselves?

You need to really place yourself in their shoes. How much time do you think about the existing problems that people have? Remember people are thinking about their problems all the time. That’s what people think about most of the time.

I know it sounds depressing I know it sounds pessimistic, but it’s just the truth and a lot of research has proven this. People don’t go about dreaming about their ideal life, they go about their day thinking how they can overcome a problem.

When you create your content, you can’t be afraid to really step into a hole with people. If you’ve seen any of my training, you know, I’ve talked about this a lot.

You need to meet a person where they are at first, which is often in a hole. You need to jump into that hole and connect with them there before you paint a picture of their dream life and evoke your ideal client’s imagination.

When you create your content, you can’t be afraid to really step into a hole with people.

You can do this by metaphorically getting in the hole with your ideal client and imagine what it feels like to be in their situation. Really feel how they are feeling. Often we want to pull people out of a hole too quickly without really connecting with them in that space.

As a personal trainer I look back now and I see I was just in a rush to get people to lose weight. I didn’t really connect with them and ask how it was affecting them. I didn’t talk about their symptoms or ask how it was impacting their health and relationships.

This is what you need to do with your content.  Hang out in your soulmate client profile. If you haven’t created one, write one up and really describe their problems, beliefs, mindsets, and ask what stage of the journey they are on.

Then go back to this ideal client profile regularly and refresh it. Don’t just shelve it. You need to keep your ideal client’s profile in mind every time you sit down to write content.

3 – Craft Your Content Carefully To Speak Directly To Your Soul-Mate Client

Your clients don’t buy your program or service just to buy a service. In the same way, you don’t go out to eat, merely to eat food, but for a certain experience that transcends eating at home.

Your clients want to be treated like royalty. You need to speak your client’s language and treat them as the intelligent, incredible person that they are.

I recommend that you craft at least 2-3 quality posts every week, specifically designed to shift people’s perspectives. I recommend you spend at least an hour a day building your social media presence.

If you’re concerned about time, you can incorporate it into your day. If you’re walking on a treadmill you can answer some questions in Facebook groups. If you’re riding in an uber you can post an article.

We all have loads of available minutes each day. If you just allocate those minutes wisely, then content creation doesn’t take a huge hit on your day.

I recommend using Facebook Live once a week. Facebook’s algorithm loves video content. In terms of brands and utilising Facebook for business, there’s just no better way to connect with your audience than face-to-face.

I’ve been doing FB live videos every week for over 2 years and it’s one of the reasons why I consistently attract 3-5 new quality clients every month.

The average internet user watches around 206 videos per month. 70% of marketers use video in their advertising, so video makes a massive impact in marketing terms.

Usually the right people aren’t finding you because the language in your content isn’t communicated in a way your ideal client resonates with.

Usually, the right people aren’t finding you because the language in your content isn’t communicated in a way your ideal client resonates with, which is a huge shame. The truth is you have so much to offer. And some simple tweaks can make the world of difference.

You have amazingly valuable wisdom and brilliance inside of you. There is a goldmine of income & opportunities waiting for you from the wealth of experience you have! What you need is to be able to structure your content in a way that draws the right people to you.

Over the last five years, I’ve helped coaches, consultants, and experts just like you who have walked past hundreds of thousands of dollars, without even realising it.

So what does it take to attract those soul-mate clients? You know those people who you love working with and become raving fans who hang off every word you say and want everything you have to offer?

When you have a content strategy that is uniquely aligned to you and your lifestyle, and a content structure that’s designed to suit the exact types of people you’re wanting to reach, you show up differently, with massive confidence, clarity, & conviction.

The right clients gravitate towards you. They start to listen, watch, and engage more. But more importantly, they reach out to work with you.⠀

This is why compelling content creation is the main thing I work with my clients on to help them sign up clients fast. This is why I created a brand-new program called, ‘The Compelling Content Project’ which shows you the exact process of how to do it! ⠀⠀⠀

In just 30 days, you can use your content to become a must-have coach for quality clients.⠀I’ll show you exactly how to get clients through your content, without needing a big following or having to spend hours a day.

The program includes 30 days of support from me, training videos, 4x mastermind sessions, plus a full-day online workshop which is coming up THIS Saturday the 14th of August.

We’re rolling up our sleeves and geting your 30-day client attraction content strategy DONE!

How To Create A 6-Figure Coaching Business (Without Doing ‘All The Things’)

What does it really take to grow a 6-figure coaching business?

If you’ve been coaching for a while, you’re probably a great coach. But if you want to create a six-figure coaching business, the question to ask is… is being a great coach enough to get you reliable, consistent clients?

In theory, anyone can become a coach. Coaching is generally the easier part. It’s the business of coaching that’s more complex.

The successful coaches I know (myself included) have created success predominately because of our business skills. Understanding the business side is what makes a difference between making it or not making it as a business owner.

I know I’m a great coach. But that’s not the main reason I grew my business to earn 6 figures annually. It happened because I got as good at business as I am at coaching. And because I am, I can help WAY more people.

So I’m going to share some of the mistakes I made and also the common mistakes I see coaches making.

Successful coaches have mastered the art and science of marketing and selling.

You might be thinking that you don’t like sales or marketing. Or you may not want to come across as pushy.

I get it. But here’s the good news.

To become a 6-figure coach, you don’t need to be an expert marketer, do cold pitching, chase people or hustle… You don’t need run ads or even have a website!

You certainly don’t need to work longer hours, grunting and grinding away on things you don’t enjoy. Otherwise, you can burn out & become a slave to your business.

But you DO need to take the things off your to-do list that aren’t moving the needle forward and focus on doing the right things.

If you want to generate a consistent flow of quality leads you need a proven strategy…

…so you can finally stop the frustration of wondering where your clients are going to come from… and start consistently earning 10k+ per month, reliably and predictably.

After being in business for 18 years and trying so many different things, I’ve discovered there are just 5 things you need to focus on to grow your coaching business to six figures.

1 – Design A Client Attraction Strategy

The first thing you need is a strategy to attract your ideal clients consistently. For this attraction phase to work, you’ve got to remember that people buy for their reasons, not yours.

When I started out in business, I was a personal trainer, then a health coach, a mindset coach.

When I decided to become a business coach, I didn’t want to let go of all this knowledge I had acquired in these other areas. I tried to position myself to do way too many things, and it just didn’t work.

Choosing a focused niche may feel like you are closing doors, but the truth is many more doors will open to the right people.

When I chose to become more focused on a niche, it closed doors to some potential clients, but it opened doors to way more people and opportunities. Having a clear niche can activate a fear of missing out, and fear and worry that you may not get enough clients.

The coolest thing is when you step into the specificity of a niche, it helps convey to people specifically how you help them, which actually draws MORE people to you. It helps you to elaborate on a clear problem that you solve.

Being vague and non-specific does not work, especially in the attraction phase. If you want to level up your business to 6 figures, you need to have the willingness to solve a clear specific problem.

To do this means really stepping up in terms of the way you view yourself and position yourself as an expert and authority. It does require a level of courage to do this, especially if you are not feeling that confident yet.

A lot of coaches are creating content when they don’t have clarity on the problem they solve… and they are wondering why it’s not working for them. The lack of clarity will reflect on your marketing, and how you’re creating your content.

Once you make the decision to niche (even if you’re worried about it), you will find people respond better, because you are being clear on the specific problem you help people with and the way you journey people to the solution.

2 – Craft A Profitable Presentation

The next thing you need to do to consistently hit six figures, is to craft a profitable presentation. A profitable presentation is a very powerful asset.

Written content is important. But for most coaches, written content alone, like blogs, emails, and social media captions rarely is enough to attract clients consistently.

Written content alone doesn’t always inspire and influence someone to make a decision to work with you.  Unless you’re a really great writer, written content does a poor job of converting people consistently.

If you want people to trust you, you need time with them. In order to build trust, you need to ask for time, however long it takes for people to go from cold to sold.

The reason people give you time is that you offer to educate them. Otherwise how else are you going to get their time?

It’s very challenging to get more than 60 minutes of someone’s time on social media. So an online event is a win/ win scenario for both you and the person attending your online event.

To take someone from cold to sold, you must build trust and building trust requires someone having time with you.

You ask them to give you their time, and in return, you’ll give them education for free.

During this time with them, you’re building trust and showing them how you help people.

The most powerful strategy I’ve discovered for attracting clients is to combine great content with a great presentation.

Having an effective presentation:

  1. Keeps people’s attention
  2. Creates more trust
  3. Positions you as an authority
  4. Helps you overcome people’s false beliefs
  5. Inspires people to take action
  6. Is highly leveraged to save you time
  7. Builds your email list

Doing just one-on-one coaching doesn’t give you that leverage. When you’re willing to get on a platform, even if it’s a platform like Zoom online, immediately your authority level goes up.

In an online event Zoom event, you have time to shift people’s beliefs and objections to buying.

Rather than having 50 sales conversations which would take 50 hours of your time, you can have that same value speaking to 50 people all at once. Can you see how leveraged having a profitable presentation is?

It’s challenging to just keep doing one-on-one coaching and get to 6 figures annually. The fastest way to do it is by having a combination of having a profitable presentation and compelling content.

3 – Create Compelling Content

You can have an incredible program or service, but without compelling content, it’s like having a Porsche but leaving it in your garage. You won’t get very far.

The marketplace has shifted to be more education-based and the cool thing about this new marketplace is that if you enjoy teaching, training, and educating people, you’re in a good position to inspire people to take action.

People don’t really care about your product or program. They just want to know that you’re able to give them what they desire, and this is where you can show them that you’re the expert and you do this through educating them with your content.

You also do this by using your content to shift their beliefs. Your content needs to clearly show someone what you recommend in order to get from Point A to Point B. Which you’ll notice is what I’m doing right now in this blog.

Use your content to shift beliefs in your ideal clients from what they currently believe to what you want them to believe and educating them is key to this.

When you take the time to educate your clients, it can really dramatically shift your business.

When you create consistent content, you’re educating people on why you’re different. You’re also changing their beliefs from what they currently believe, to what you want them to believe. And you do this in order to have them take that next step to work with you.

Not doing this was a massive mistake that I made. (I made mistakes in all the 5 areas that I’m talking about today!)

I didn’t realise you need a formula and strategy to create compelling content that inspires action. I used to just wing it.

I would literally just write a blog, without having any structure or any formula.

I’d just show up and throw up (as they say.) I’d do Facebook Live videos that didn’t have a plan or proper structure.

The purpose of your content is to educate people and inspire them to take action.

4 – Build An Automated Funnel

When you’re building a coaching business to 6-figures, there are two distinct paths you can go down.

One is working manually, which means you just keeping up as best as you can with your never-ending to-do list.

Or, you can choose the second path, which is building a funnel, which is an asset.

A funnel is a path that people go through where they come into your email list by putting their name and email to access free content. You then take them through a process of nurturing them until they know, like, and trust you and then if they’re the right match, invite them to become your paid client.

This is what so many of your competitors are not doing because it takes some thought and learning, which can be scary or overwhelming. But it’s one of the most powerful ways to have a sustainable, successful business.

What so many coaches do is start their business manually, which is how most of us start out, but then they attempt for the rest of the business’s life to keep running it manually.

Using funnels to automate your business equals freedom.

If you haven’t already decided, please decide that you’re going to stop running your business manually.

Automation equals freedom.

This makes a huge difference in terms of the financial capacity and lifestyle your business can bring you. Rather than consuming and reacting, you create and build a profitable, scalable asset.

Because I know how to create funnels, I can be out running, get an idea, come home and have a funnel up online within a few hours.

It’s incredible because you can build a funnel that generates a lot of income without doing a lot of work.

If you don’t have an automated funnel in place, there’s only so far you can go.  Everything is capped. Your sales, your profit, your growth, your lifestyle – everything is limited.

Some people think it looks too hard, but what’s worse? Running a business that sucks the life and soul out of you, because you’re so stressed out and doing everything manually? Or taking the time to upskill and automate your business?

I use ClickFunnels for this, as I’ve found it’s one of the best landing page builders and funnel builders in the world, and I trust it. I’ve had people say to me they don’t want to pay for a subscription, but all you need to do is have one client and that pays for a whole year’s subscription.

I’ve got 20 different funnels working for me. I have webinar funnels, lead magnets, and my online courses hosted there also. This gives me so much freedom.

I love taking time to have holidays. I bought a timeshare over 10 years ago and if I didn’t have funnels in place, I wouldn’t be able to take so many holidays.

To me, taking the time to set up automation is a no-brainer. When you have a funnel in place, you no longer have peaks and troughs leaving money on the table.

But, when you build an automated funnel, you have the capacity to generate a consistent lead flow.

5 – Develop A High-Performance Mindset

To create a successful coaching business … and by success, I’m talking about a business that fills your bank account and your soul… you need to develop a high-performance mindset.

You have to constantly level up your mindset. A high-performance mindset is focused on taking charge of your life and business. It’s about being a leader.

You can’t wait for a miracle, a sign, a rescuer, or a lucky break. You have to create it yourself. It starts with being intentional about what you want from your life and then building your business around that.

It’s really important that you figure out what you want in your ideal life, and then take actions towards making that come true. From there, you can put the proper structures in place.

You can’t wait for a rescuer or a lucky break. You have to create your opportunities yourself and that starts with being intentional.

Structures create outcomes.

Having structures like systems, strategy, and support in place is what builds a sustainable business around your vision.

Hustling 16 hours a day might sound impressive, but it’s not healthy. Manageability is crucial. And this always starts with your mindset.

When I started out, I acted like I was a 6-figure business owner before I had the money in the bank. I believed so deeply that it would happen for me, and because of that, I was able to step into the mindset of a 6-figure business owner and take action as they would.

Back then when I made investments, hired team members, or made any major decisions around my business, I always asked myself what would a 6-figure business owner do?  Then I did that.

This meant never accepting anything less than everything I want.

A high-performance mindset is willing to take risks. It’s an abundance mindset. It’s charging what you’re worth, not allowing yourself to stress out about money, and knowing that there are always clients.

You have to believe that you’re going to find a way to make things work.  You can’t play safe or be timid. You’ve got to make quick decisions and put yourself out there.

I see so many Facebook groups where people are saying they are looking for someone to contribute to their book or to speak at events. There will be hundreds of people putting their hand up, and I wonder why these people aren’t putting out their own books and sharing their knowledge in their own events.

It’s not that hard to do. It’s just about being willing to do it.

You’ve got to take risks. You’ve got to know your ‘why’. It’s about deciding specifically who you want to serve, how you want to spend your time (based on what you enjoy), and how you want your business to feel.

I fully trust in my work ethic, I trust myself and back myself.

I know that I’m going to make a way, even if there does not look like there is a way. I’m going to find a way to make things work. I don’t play safe. I’m not afraid to put myself out there, even though I don’t always feel confident.

That’s what high-performance business owners do.

When you get off the merry-go-round of chasing quick fixes, and step from a place of scarcity into an abundance mindset, you will create something truly great in this world.

In order to go faster, sometimes we need to slow down and learn a different way of doing things.
