3 Powerful Questions That Change The Way You Show Up

The questions we ask ourselves are so powerful in our lives. Asking yourself the right powerful questions can set your mind in a positive direction for your day, which in turns shapes your destiny.

I’m going to share with you 3 powerful questions you can ask yourself that are game-changers when it comes to the way you show up.

If you want to be a leader or an inspirational role model to your followers and community, you need to be sure you are showing up in a positive manner.

People are watching your life right now.

Failing to ask the right, powerful questions is like leaving a toddler in the house by themselves with a knife. They would run around wild like crazy.  If we’re not telling our minds and thoughts what to focus on, then our minds will also run wild.

Sadly we naturally tend towards the negative in our minds. We ask ourselves why people aren’t liking our posts. We ask ourselves if there is something wrong with us.

Often these negative questions stem from a fear of not being good enough or fear of being rejected. We are programmed to believe that we are not enough because that’s the marketing messages we receive all the time.

If we’re not intentional then we can just default into thinking the negative questions in our minds. I’m going to give you 3 belief builders that I use in my own life that are effective and help push me forward.

3 Belief Builders
1 – What Are The Great Decisions You Have Made?

We often focus on things we’ve done wrong and bad decisions or habits we have, instead of focussing on the amazing decisions we’ve made that have led to positive outcomes.

I encourage you to write them down. If you spent 5 minutes writing down your great decisions, you will find infinitely more great decisions that you’ve made than wrong decisions.

Your good decisions could be moving to a new country, enrolling in a new course, going to university or learning a new language. They could be simple decisions like cutting out sugar or starting to exercise.

2 – What Are Your Skills, Knowledge, Experience And Results?

Write out your skills, knowledge, experience and results on paper. Doing this will build your belief in yourself. It will also build your confidence.

People are looking for good, confident leaders and role models. You need to come across confidently to people, so you have to build your belief in yourself. You need to have a strong level of confidence and certainty.

Ask yourself – what are your accomplishments? What skills do you have? Can you swim well or dance well? What about in the area of your business? Are you great at marketing, sales or copywriting?

What are some of the things you know that you could teach? There have been hundreds and even thousands of hours that you have learned things throughout your life. You know so much and sometimes you just have to remind yourself that you do know enough.

3 – I Am Statements

The 3rd belief builders are ‘I am…’ statements. I am strong.  I am capable. I am confident. I am inspiring. I am valuable. I am motivated. I am resilient.

Write down as many ‘I am…’ statements as you can think of.

Some of mine are: I am worthy. I am knowledgeable. I am strong. I am capable. I am a positive influence. I am a great coach. I am a great speaker. I am dedicated. I am committed. I am growing every day.

All the ‘I am…’ statements are positive that you write down. You will find that you feel awesome after speaking these  out. These get you into the right state.

The 3 Questions you Need to Be Asking Yourself
1 – How Can I Over-deliver Today?

If you want to stand out today, you have to ask yourself; How can I overdeliver today? You can’t just be good or great, you have to be outstanding.

This doesn’t mean you have to be perfect. It just means that every time you show up, whether that is on Facebook or Instagram, in a forum or group, a coaching session or in person, you want to overdeliver.

Mastering business is all about bringing the care and the heart, so you are not just pushing out content, but you are willing to serve.

Find a community that you care for so much, that you are not just asking from them. You will be inspired to show up and serve.

Self-confidence comes from serving people at a higher level than others and having a higher standard and keeping it, even if you don’t feel like it or not.

When you create great experiences for people, they will refer other people to you. Your name will get out there and spread by word of mouth. People that overdeliver get more clients because they serve at a higher standard and surpass people’s expectations.

This requires heart. So many of us are so busy with our to do list and ticking off tasks, that we forget to step back and ask how can we be a massive blessing to others? How can I give an outstanding effort today?

We push ourselves to do more. You don’t learn this, you earn it.

If you are feeling flat or run down in your business, you need to model someone who is outstanding and overdelivering. Ask yourself every day, How can I overdeliver today?

2 – If This Was the Last Week of my Life How Would I Show Up?

The second question to ask yourself is; If this was the last week of my life, how would I show up?

Would you hold back and put things off, or would you go for it? Would you jump on Facebook Live? What would you share if you really wanted to make an impact?

If you had a whole week to spread your message, what would you do? What would you say? Who would you spend time with?

How would you show up? You would probably show up as outstanding. You would have energy and be next level. You wouldn’t be flat, depressed or complaining. You would want to have peak performance.

Why not do this every week? It’s not about hyping yourself up. It’s about asking yourself who you want to be in this world and then tapping into that reason and energy. You don’t have to force it. It’s a by-product that comes with having the desire to be the most outstanding that you can be.

3 – Why MUST I Show Up To the Best of My Ability?

Number 3 is to ask yourself; Why must I show up to the best of my ability? People need help more than ever at the moment.

You need to be evolving with the current times. Your marketing needs to reflect these current times. People want their questions answered.

People want to feel understood more than anything in the world.

One of the best feelings in the world is when someone understands us – when we pour out our hearts to someone and they truly understand us. People are craving this.

Make a decision to never settle for being anything less than the best you can be. This is what it means to be successful, to be a leader and not a follower. You have gifts that other people don’t have and you can use them to help people.

If you’re not showing up to the fullness of your ability and you know there’s more potential and more for you, these powerful questions will help you set your mindset.

3 Universal Laws That Peak Performers Use To Get Powerful Results

A lot of people struggle to progress in their business.

They want to get more clients, get events happening and get the business success they know they’re capable of.

But not a lot of people actually do what it takes to take the right consistent action to go to the next level in contributing and succeeding.

I hear people say things like, “How has another week gone past and I still haven’t achieved X?”, or “How has another week gone by and I didn’t finish Y?”

When we don’t align what we’re doing on a day-to-day basis with our bigger goals and vision, we don’t have consistent progress. This causes us incredible frustration.

If you’ve noticed yourself in a pattern of putting hard things off, procrastinating or not following through on things you told yourself you’d do, this blog and video will help you.

What I love helping people in business with is not only WHAT to do, but WHY they are NOT doing things.

If you can ‘unplug’ the blockages, the flow starts to move again. It feels amazing!

It’s easy to get our head in our laptop and get stuck into actions and not think about whether they are the BEST actions to be doing right now.

Whenever I’m feeling like this, I love revisiting universal laws, because they are solid truth. Universal laws don’t change.

So, if want to perform at a higher level and improve your results – it helps to come back to universal laws.

Understanding universal laws can provide us with a compass to see where we’re currently at, and a roadmap for how we can move forward.

What I like to do is look at universal laws and truths through the lens of an entrepreneur and how to use them to grow in business.

There are many different universal laws, however, in this blog I’m going to talk about 3 of them.

1 – The Law of Vibration

The Law of Vibration states that “Everything in the universe has a frequency and a vibration,” “Nothing ever stands still, as everything is always either being pushed away from you or pulled towards you.”

Items of similar vibration are attracted to each other. So, to use this law to manifest what you want in business, you need to match your vibration with that of what you want.

Whatever you believe with feeling becomes your reality. You feel positive about yourself to the degree of your vibration. You feel negative about yourself to the degree of your vibration.

If you’re low, flat and annoyed, resentful and disappointed, you’ll attract more of those feelings. And we attract more of those things into our business and life.

If you’re feeling inspired, determined, confident and amazing, you attract more of that. You attract people who are also feeling like that way.

Have you noticed this in action?

Failure breeds failure. Success breeds success.

A client of mine recently said she’d never had a flat tyre in her life, and then she had 4 in 1 month.  I locked myself out of my apartment 3 times in one week.

When you’re putting out positive vibes, positive things start to flow around you. I’ve seen this so many times in my life and the lives of people around me.

For me personally, when I get on a roll and things are going wrong like if I get angry, kick my toe, or smash a plate, this law is triggered.  You attract that grumpy person at the post office or you find that everyone is driving slow when you’re in a big hurry.

What are you expecting to happen in your business? What are you actually expecting?

If you expect that you’re meant to be a great success in life, you’ll press through to your goals. Nothing will stop you.

But if you believe it’s just luck or a fluke, or it doesn’t really matter what you do today because nothing works, then you won’t push forward and you will be disappointed.

Happy people attract other happy people. A person with an abundant mindset attracts other people with abundant mindsets.

Everything you do and have in your life is because of who you are and who you have been.  You can have and do more because you can change who you are being.

You can keep your thoughts on what you want and refuse to think about what you don’t want.

The more you think of yourself and your life as uniquely brilliant and important, the more you attract the resources, ideas, opportunities and people to help you become the person you see in your future.

You’re surrounded by the outcome of decisions you’ve made in the past. You are also fully capable of making other decisions and attracting a different set of circumstances.

If you’re in the vibration of consistency, you’ll keep showing up and being consistent and writing content and doing those FB Lives and running those webinars that are going to lead you to success.

The more you believe it, the more likely it will happen. If you keep telling yourself that webinars don’t work, or Facebook ads don’t work, you are creating your own self-fulfilling prophecy.

Your beliefs become your reality. You have to believe in your success and practice believing it. It takes work to raise your vibration.

Whatever you expect with confidence becomes your own self-fulfilling prophecy. What you get is not necessarily what you want in life, but what you expect.

Successful people expect to be happy, fulfilled, liked, and successful. People who show up at their events expecting to get clients are seldom disappointed.

Unsuccessful people have an attitude of pessimism, cynicism and negativity that causes situations to work out the exact way they are expecting.

The Law of Attraction and Vibration work in parallel with each other. You apply the law of Attraction and Vibration in your business by confidently expecting to gain something worthwhile from everything that’s happening to you in your life.

Instead of going down the path of negative thoughts that say it’s too hard, I can’t do this or things have gone terribly.  Choose to confidently expect that things are going to work out for you.

Imagine if you lived your life absolutely convinced that everything was conspiring to make you happy and successful? I have an action prompt for each of these 3 universal laws.

The first one is – What is a question I could ask myself every day to prompt a positive vibration?

The questions we ask ourselves before we get up and before we go to sleep are the most important questions we can ask ourselves.

If we want to produce more, at a higher level and achieve more progress and productivity, we want to wrap our day with powerful questions.

This is one way to raise your vibration.Your unconscious mind goes to work on the question throughout the day or the night.

Morning Questions to Raise Positive Vibrations

  1. How can I best be of service today?
  2. Who needs me to be at my A-game?
  3. How can I be my most powerful and confident self today?
  4. How can I use my time most effectively today?
  5. How can I show kindness today?

I think to myself that I have a community of people watching my life  (and so do you). You have a community of people watching your life and you have influence over them. I don’t take that responsibility lightly.

You can change someone’s mood with your vibration and positivity. The way that I show up affects other people.

Coaches know how much this is true. If you jump on a coaching call and you’re struggling, you can’t fake your vibration. It’s important that you start each day making powerful, positive choices that increase your positive vibration.

Evening Questions to Raise Positive Vibrations

  1. How many ways can I continue to become an even more effective coach?
  2. How many ways can I continue to become an even more wealthy business owner?
  3. How many ways can I trust more?

Using the law of vibration to our advantage is so motivating because it’s about our BFS – our Best Future Self. So it’s not just about having more money or more clients, it’s about the IDENTITY of WHO we want to be and see ourselves being in our future.

2 The Law of Correspondence

The Law of Correspondence states that your outer world is a reflection of your inner world. This is your true self. Your outer world of health corresponds to your inner world of beliefs about your health. Your outer world of finances corresponds to your inner world of beliefs about money.

When you work on your inner world, you start to reflect and produce the result in the outer world.

Our lives are created by the subconscious patterns we repeat every single day, and these patterns either serve us or hold us back. And most of our patterns are unconscious, in fact around 90% are on auto-pilot.

Any thought or idea that you accept as true in your conscious mind will be accepted in your subconscious mind. It’s really important what we put into our conscious mind what we want and not what we don’t want.

This is because your unconscious mind will immediately go to work to bring it into your reality, making all your words, feelings, actions and even body language fit a pattern that’s consistent with your dominant thoughts and goals.

If you look at someone who is hunched over and really small in their body, no doubt their dominant thoughts are negative about themselves.

We can activate this law by becoming aware of your own patterns, and then consciously taking action steps to break them. We need to be intentional about this.

We need to take time each day to soak your mind in positive and uplifting thoughts. Whatever you dwell on long enough and hard enough, will eventually materialise in the world around you.

The more you think about something, the more it comes towards you. This is where coaching is so powerful. We can’t see our own blind spots.

Coaches reflect our unconscious mind back to us. They reflect back what’s really going on in our inner world. If your business, or your health, your relationships, your finances are not thriving, you need to clean up your thinking.

So I have a simple challenge. Give yourself one word to focus on every week. It could be brave, joyful, inspiring, grateful, organised, flow, consistent, abundant, focus, calm, resilient.

Repeat these words and write them down somewhere you can see it a lot and when you see it, speak it out over yourself. Doing this sets your sail in the right direction.

Words change how we feel. If we have worry, confusion, doubt and overwhelm playing around in our mind, our outer world will reflect it.

3. The Law Of Cause And Effect

The Law of Cause and Effect states that any action causes a reaction. Whatever you put out, whether it be good or bad, you are going to get right back at you.

There are specific actions for being successful and for being unsuccessful. Most people think that life is just happening to them and they are just an effect of what’s happening.

They don’t realise that they have the choice to be the cause. When you’re a cause, you take full responsibility for your results.

It’s not always easy to admit this. It’s a bit of a wakeup call. When you realise that everything you have or don’t have, is because of you, it can be confronting.

A lot of people are looking externally at other people or things instead of being present to themselves and the opportunities that they can create.

We’re thinking thousands of thoughts every day. When we’re at the effect side of the equation, the thoughts are usually about what is happening TO us, not what we are creating.

When we live at cause, not effect, we realise that if we want to attract something into our business or into our life, WE have to take ownership. We need to realise I’M the cause of what’s happening.

If you want incredible clients, you need to be an incredible client. If you want incredible wealth, you need to invest time energy and money into your wealth.

When you realise that everything that is happening in your life is because of you, you start to become present to opportunities, clients and creativity.

A lot of people are deleting and rejecting opportunities constantly because they’re living in effect and not taking productive quality outputs that really matter. If you want to attract something into your business, you have to be it!

I want clients who don’t get stuck in hesitation, so I don’t allow myself to get stuck in hesitation. I want clients who are happy and committed, so I am happy and committed first. I want clients who give referrals, so I work at being a coach who is worthy of referrals.

Whatever you are reaping today is the result of what you sowed in the past.  If you wish to reap a different result, you need to plant different seeds today.

Sometimes reaping the seed you’ve sown takes patience. If you have planted seeds in the ground, keep watering them with positive thoughts, positive words and actions. One day they are going to come up fast like bamboo. But it requires trust.

There’s sometimes a lag time between sowing and reaping. It’s almost like a test. Your life is not a sprint, it’s more like an ultra-long marathon.

This law shows you that we will be compensated for our work as long as we’re open to receiving in all the many ways that results can be delivered to us.

5 Habits Of High Performing Entrepreneurs

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about what makes entrepreneurs successful.

I’ve been deep-diving into the work of Brendon Burchard, Brooke Castillo, Brian Tracy, Tony Robbins, and others to see what separates successful people from the rest.

Today I’m going to be talking about the habits of high performing entrepreneurs and specifically 5 habits that I think are the most important habits to develop.

Before I get into that…Some of you may not know that in 2006, I started competing in bodybuilding competitions.

I wanted to see what was possible for me.

And I didn’t just want to do compete, I wanted to win.

In the lead up to my first competition, I immersed myself in learning about the champion mindset. I wanted to know what thinking makes people champions.

I hired a world master champion bodybuilding coach, Jo Stewart.

I said to her “Jo, I want to win” and told her that I don’t want to do this for just the fun of it.

Ok don’t laugh… this is me in 2006…. I obviously wanted my hair to be bigger than my muscles 😉

To win, I had to start developing the mindset of a champion. So I started listening to CD’s of people who were champions and the mindset they had.

Over time I ended up doing 10 different competitions… (it became a bit addictive!)

I wanted to keep improving my time or improve my score and get better. And so I ended up competing every year for 7 years.

Throughout those years, I really started to learn the principles of champions.

Successful athletes, like all successful people make choices every day that lead them to becoming winners. These are often the choices they make when no one else is watching.

So what are some of the top habits of high performing entrepreneurs? Here are five…

1 –  Think About Your Best Future Self

High performing entrepreneurs think about their best future self. I like calling it my ‘future self’. Successful people take themselves out into the future, and they think about who they want to become.

And when you can see that dream and you believe it, it becomes your reality. You start acting like that person that you want to be, before you become it.

If you believe you’re meant to be great and be successful, you will press through to your goals, and nothing will stop you. If you believe that success is luck or a fluke, then you will be disappointed. And you will just keep stuck in a cycle that will become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Successful people start acting successfully now in the present time. They are their BFS – their Best Future Self.

What are 3 words that describe your best future self?

Maybe you want to be brave, maybe it’s courageous, aspirational, ambitious, confident, playful or organised?

I often go out into my future self. I’m constantly thinking about future Kat and what she’s doing and what she’s like.

I’ve got to really be intentional about it. Take for example; my future self is being super organised, as I don’t feel like it’s a natural gift for me.  But I train myself to be organised.

You want to choose the words that make you feel something where you actually really believe it. If you haven’t stopped lately to envisage your best future self and who that person is out in the future, then I encourage you to do that today and make a practice of it.

The person you are today is a result of everything you’ve done up to this point. All the seeds that you’ve planted in your life, everything that you’ve done is a result of your past choices.

If you look at your health right now,  it is a reflection of how you used to view yourself. If you look at your bank account, the finances sitting in your bank account are a reflection of who you used to think you were so it’s all related to self-worth.

If you look at your relationships. Are they thriving, or is there conflict?  It’s all related to how you see yourself and your identity.

Ask yourself, how you’ve been in your business in the past couple of months. Do you want to be this person in the future? Are you being your best future self in your business right now?

If you haven’t been operating as your best future self. Ask yourself, if you were, how would you behave in the future? And then start acting like that now!

High performers are not on autopilot, they’re intentional. They think about their character and their legacy. They’re looking out of today into the future and bringing the future to themselves.

2 –  Study And Develop Skills Within Your Primary Field Of Interest

If you’re not an entrepreneur just yet, but you want to be, this is for you also. It’s actually for all humans at any stage of their lives!

High performers study and develop skills within their primary field of interest. What three skills are you working on developing and practicing at the moment?

Are you developing your sales or marketing skills? Are you doing a course on making Facebook ads? Or are you working on learning copywriting?

Entrepreneurs should always be working on increasing at least 3 skills. This is not a scattergun approach. It’s deliberately choosing skills to push you and your business forward.

Each quarter I have 3 skills that I choose to grow in. I deliberately block out my calendar and put aside time for learning.

I find time to up-skill while I’m doing other things. I like listening to books while I’m cooking, driving or walking. I listen to the people who are living their best self and who are successful, people like Tony Robbins, Zig Ziglar, Brian Tracy and others.

I deliberately learn other skills each quarter so I’m constantly up-skilling. I learn what I need to go to the next level.

When we get stuck and stop, we are then not attracting clients.  High-performance people schedule time in to become masterful in the areas they desire.

3 – Be Solution Minded, Not Problem Minded

High performing entrepreneurs focus on the solution and not the problem. Instead of focusing on what they don’t want, they get super clear on what they do want.

Think thoughts linked to your future self.  When you focus on solutions, when something bad happens, you don’t get stuck in disappointment.

Choosing a solution and growth mindset can become a habit. When problems come their way, entrepreneurs switch on. When COVID hit, successful entrepreneurs switched on and found solutions.

In times of trouble, successful entrepreneurs become resourceful and come up with creative solutions. We need to allow ourselves to really think on purpose, to be creative and to trust our unconscious mind.

Something that I do every morning and night, is I write out my vision. I say things like; I’m so happy and grateful now that I’m a highly successful, wealthy entrepreneur who has built my business on courage and effort.

In doing this, I’m re-wiring my subconscious brain. Because then my unconscious mind will go to work and come up with solutions to match this identity. In writing things down it drops from your conscious to your subconscious.

4 – Be Intentional About Your Daily Habits

There are habits in your life that are intentional, but that you almost do subconsciously, like brushing your teeth. Then there are habits in your life that you develop intentionally, based on your future self.

Every day you’re planting the seeds and you’re watering the seeds of your future self and you can trust that they are going to bloom into a beautiful tree. Your business will be like a beautiful tree with a solid foundation and deep roots.

Every Wednesday I don’t take on coaching clients. I block off my calendar and I up-level my business. I sit there and I upgrade things like I tweak my website wording or my LinkedIn profile. If I am intentional at doing this weekly, then it doesn’t become a big thing.

Everything is increasing and improving because of my consistent, little habits that I’ve developed.

A good example is me turning up on Facebook Live every Wednesday night. It’s a choice for me to be consistent.  I choose it because I know there are people out there who I can help.

It’s the little habits that don’t seem like a big deal but when you add them up they end up being habits that produce high-performance entrepreneurs.

5 – Be Intentional About How You Serve Others

A rich fulfilling life is a life that benefits others.

Every day I ask myself how I can serve my clients with excellence and make an extraordinary contribution in their lives today.

Instead of asking what do I want and how can I get it,  I ask myself; How can I bring more value to my tribe?  High-performance entrepreneurs are outwardly focussed, not inwardly focussed.

They don’t blame others. They realise that every result they have in their life is a result of what they have done. They don’t make excuses or live in denial.

Instead of getting stuck in their fears, they go to work and deal with their fears and doubts, because they want to be of service to other people.

3 Powerful Online Marketing Methods To Build More Followers, Engagement & Trust

Would you like to know the fastest ways to build more followers, more engagement, and more trust? There are 3 powerful methods that I recommend if you want to attract more clients and build deep connections using online relationship marketing. These are the exact 3 marketing strategies that I used to… * Sell out my programs with my ideal clients that I love working with * Have a steady stream of consistent, quality clients, without the stress or confusion * Grow a 6-figure business as a full-time coach working from home In this video and blog, I unpack these methods and show you how you can get rapid results in your business using these 3 incredibly effective strategies. These take effort and consistency, but they work incredibly well and can catapult and accelerate your results. I call these the 3 online captivation weapons. Here they are:
1 – Compelling Content
The first captivation weapon is compelling content. To grow your business, you need to create consistent content that’s valuable and relevant to your ideal client. It’s the type of content that your ideal client really wants. Being consistent and constantly showing up and giving compelling content builds trust. People get to know you, like you and trust you. We do business with people who we like, who we can trust, and who we feel gets us. There are many people that have signed up with me as a client and said they just feel like I get them and speak their language. There are a lot of people who watched my business over time before they decided to work with me and this built trust due to the consistency. I never used to enjoy doing Facebook Lives. But I decided that I was going to do them consistently. There has to be a time where you get serious about your business and say, ‘I’m doing this and there is no ‘out.’  You have to decide to burn your bridges and go all-out in your business. When I first committed to consistency, I assumed that consistency was going to pay off, but I had no proof. Now, I do! The benefit of consistency is that you build trust with people who don’t know you. You’re not here today and gone tomorrow, you consistently show up because you want to help people. When you’re consistently showing up with compelling content, you get to teach people what you do and you get to teach people new things. Through that, they will realise if they’re a match for you. There’s a piece of research that was done recently where someone did a study that showed it takes seven hours of consuming content for people to make a significant buying decision. So if you’re reposting other people’s quotes, you’re not really building that trust through your own consistent content. You need to start increasing the time you are providing content. If you’re doing Facebook Lives, I encourage you to consider running a 60-minute Zoom event. If you’re already doing 60 minute events, up it to 90-minutes then 2 hours, then commit to running a half-day then a full-day workshop. Running online events and webinars with Zoom is one of the fastest ways to build up connections with people because when people book into an event, they’re more invested. I recommend that you do both written and video content. If you’re better at one than the other, then just start with the type of content you are good at, and you will grow as a content creator the more you do it. The more you put yourself out there doing videos, the less you will need notes, and the less nervous you will be. Video is the way of the future. It’s also the way of NOW. Putting out valuable video content builds your personal brand. You’ll get more people referring you as a go-to expert and you’ll be known as a reliable business owner. One of my clients wanted to build her business, so we worked together. She was so committed to putting out regular content. She kept showing up and she now has over 40,000 followers on Facebook and she got them really quickly! She was genuinely showing up and building her tribe and creating valuable, consistent content. This is the first powerful captivation method
 2 – Crafted Online Events
The second method is creating crafted online events. Events are about organising your knowledge and having actionable steps for people to follow. It’s structured and organised. You don’t have to be a great speaker. You don’t have to be an extrovert (I’m an introvert). You just have to have knowledge that can help people. Repetition is the mother of increasing your skills and it’s the same with running online events. They are so powerful as you can reach more people at one time. You can build rapport and connection with more people at one time by doing online events. It maximises and leverages your time. Every hour that you spend with someone, you could spend that same hour helping 50, 100, or 500+ people via an event. Doing online events allows you to educate people and inspire them. It can open so many new exciting doors of opportunity for you. If you’re willing to run an event, people often start inviting you to speak in their groups and you become known as the go-to expert. I suggested doing online events to one of my clients, Gaynor.  She literally laughed, as she didn’t know how she could find the time, as she had her business and was also a busy mum. I encouraged her to step out and when she did, her results were brilliant. Her first online event brought in $2,368. It was by no means perfect, but she still had people show up and get helped by it. Since using that online strategy she’s gone on to make over $25,000 and now she has an online course. She used to run retreats in the UK and now she’s taken everything online. She never thought she could do it, but she did! It takes work when you first start doing them and organising your knowledge, but the hard road gets easier and the easy road gets harder. Events are SO worth it!
3- Client Attraction Funnels
The third marketing method to build more followers, engagement and trust is to have a client attraction funnel. The thought of a client attraction funnel may freak you out, but they are actually simple once you know how to do it. A funnel is basically an automated way to turn strangers into clients. They are where people can sign up to your services 24/7. They may come across your post on a downloadable freebie that you created. They click to download the freebie and it takes them to a funnel landing page. A landing page is a simple one-page website. The people opt-in, they put their name and email in your funnel and they get your freebie to download. In return, you get their details. You capture people, get their information, and then you can continue to build a relationship with them. A lot of people get my emails and they don’t sign up straight away. But after nurturing them, they come to a point where they are ready to buy. A funnel could also be a landing page that leads people to your event. A funnel could also be a landing page that’s a freebie that people download and they go into your email list and nurture sequence. A nurture sequence is a series of emails that give more help and free gifts. Your ideal client will eventually work out if you are the right match to work with them. Only 3% of people are ready to buy immediately when they come across you. Others need more time to build that rapport with you. A funnel is a way for you to consistently build relationship. You share and give value through your funnel system. The right people will want to keep working with you. These are the people who see that you’ve sufficiently educated them and inspired them to actually take action. These skills are all learnable and at some point, if you want to be a successful business owner, you do need to learn these skills. Remember it’s all about just taking action, and it can be imperfect action. It’s about making a decision and going for it. Do you want help doing this so you can get more clients? I work together with people in the following areas: 1) Creating compelling content that converts I help you craft the right language to attract your ideal client, so the right people can immediately see what you’re all about and that your program is right for them. We also makeover your existing marketing and online presence and make sure your offer is irresistible. 2) Creating automated marketing funnels I help you create a 24/7 marketing machine that you can rely on and also massively frees up your time. You don’t need to be a tech expert, I hold your hand and walk through it every step of the way with you. 3) Creating profitable presentations We use my proven process to craft the right language that signs ups truly ideal, quality clients from your presentations. In order to be the best candidate to get results, you must have experience serving clients in your area of expertise and getting results, and already have a pretty clear idea of what problem you solve and who you enjoy helping the most. If you’re not sure if you meet this qualification, message me on Facebook or email me at info@katmillar.com and we’ll discuss it. You need to be willing to create content consistently, either writing and/or being on video and sharing your thoughts about the topics you’re an expert in. The #1 Thing That Made The Biggest Difference In Growing a 6-Figure Business

There is one thing that has made the biggest difference in my coaching business and helped me create a 6-figure income.

Today, in this third blog of a 3-part series, I will be sharing the final essential key you need to attract your ideal clients.

In the first blog of the series, I talked about business strategy and how to develop a strategy.

In the second blog, I talked about the essential skills you need as a business owner. I covered what the skills are, and how you can develop those skills.

Today, I want to share with you a little bit about the key points in my entrepreneurial journey that have made the biggest difference in my business and helped me keep going when I’ve wanted to give up.

Research shows that as many as 50% of businesses fail within the first 5 years and 70% or more in the first 10 years.

Business is not easy and it’s definitely not for the faint-hearted.

But business is the best thing I’ve come across for personal development. There has been nothing that has developed and grown me more than having a business.

When you are a business owner, you have to overcome your fears and doubts. You cannot afford to get stuck in your limiting beliefs. It isn’t always easy to keep showing up, but you cannot allow yourself to get stuck in negative emotions, you’ve got to keep moving forward.

When I decided in 2003 that the 9-5 world wasn’t for me and I wanted to be an entrepreneur, I made a decision and took action and left the corporate world.

Since then I’ve been focused on building my business, honing my skills and consistently working hard to get new clients so I never had to go back to a full time job.

I’ve had a few contract jobs that have kept me going in the quieter times, but I’ve been so determined to make business work.

What has kept me going in the hard times, has been the support of my mentors, coaches and community.

As I’ve been moving through the entrepreneurial journey and going through all the ups and downs that come with business, the thing that’s gotten me out of the difficult places every time, has been support.

When I used to get tempted to look at full time jobs, it was my ‘why’ – which is to help others who are struggling like me – and the support around me that helped me to keep going.

If you want to make it in business, you need:

  1. Business Strategy
  2. Business Skills
  3. Business Support
Support of a Coach, Mentor, and Community

Too many people are walking around thinking they can do it on their own in business.

I was like that as well. I didn’t think I needed to invest in a coach.  I didn’t think I needed a community. I thought that I was a strong, independent woman and I could do this on my own. But that was just my ego getting in the way.

There was one particular moment that stands out to me.  I wasn’t getting clients, and I was completely torn. I didn’t want to get a job, but I also didn’t know what to do because I didn’t think I could afford to invest in getting help.

I remember going to an event in 2013 with Benjamin J Harvey and Dr. John DeMartini.  I was new to Sydney, and things weren’t working in my business.

Ben talked about when he decided that he was going to commit to investing in himself, and at the time he was in $137,000 worth of debt. Despite that, he spent $17,995 on a program on his credit card.

That program was the thing that catapulted his success. He now he’s a multi-millionaire and has helped thousands of people. He said something woke up within him.

The exact same thing happened when I went to his event. Something woke up within me. I had no money and was completely broke. I had $500 in my account which was to cover two-weeks of rent.

I decided to back myself and it was one of the scariest moments, because I had no idea where I was going to come up with that money.

But I knew that the missing thing in my business was support. I didn’t have someone to ask questions who was above my level. I had other friends in business, I had books and YouTube, but without a mentor and without a community, I was struggling and I knew that I wasn’t going to make it if I didn’t change something.

Since investing in getting support, I’ve made my way more than my investment back time and time again.

I grew a 6-figure business in less than 12 months and was able to go full-time in my business a coach working from home.

Ben Harvey has a 5-step system that I wanted to share with you because it’s simple and I love it. There’s a lot we have to navigate in business, but we often overcomplicate things, so  I love the simplicity of this.

Ben Harvey’s 5 Steps to Success
1) Decide What You Want

It sounds so simple, but a lot of people aren’t able to articulate what they want clearly. Take the time to get clear on exactly what you want and decide to get it.

2) Commit to Doing Whatever It Takes

Make a commitment to yourself that you will do whatever it takes to grow your business. Honour yourself and your commitment and keep showing up, no matter how hard it gets.

Determine that you will not give up on yourself, or your dream. Commitment is a game-changer.

The world of online business is expanding all over the world and the ones who are succeeding are committed to it.

3) Find Someone Who Can Help You

I have not met ONE person has ever made it on their own. There’s not a single athlete that doesn’t have a coach, yet there are so many people trying to grow a business without support.

Everyone who’s ever achieved anything, has had someone help them.

The fastest way to get success, is to model what other people have done that have gone before you. Don’t copy, but model.

If you want to succeed, spend as much time as possible with the people who are moving in fast in the direction you want to go.

4) Learn Everything You Can

Find someone you resonate with, someone who you like – you like their energy, style and you enjoy learning from them and spending time with them. That’s how I choose my teachers, I like them.

Choose teachers and mentors who are experienced in the result you want to get and are able to get you great results too. They need to understand you and speak your language.

5) Follow The Exact Process

Too many people are taking a little bit from this person, a little bit from another and trying to combine it together with little or no success.

People take different strategies and mixed methods and try to piece them together. They end up confused and overwhelmed.

You want to make sure that the person you choose to coach you, has the method that you want and has achieved the results that you are looking for. Then you need to follow their exact process.

Three Reasons You Need Support
1) Clarity

Clarity is one of the most priceless things you can have in business.

I’ve had about 15 coaching sessions this week, and about 90% of the people I coached said they wanted clarity. Clarity is knowing what the next step to take is.

There’s so many things that you can be doing, consuming or outputting in your business.

This is where support can help you have that clarity, because you know exactly what to stop wasting time on and what to start spending time on.  Clarity is such a gift in business.

If you can get clarity, it stops the noise that’s stopping you from doing dollar-producing activities. You know those things that we waste time on, that don’t really move us forward in our business.

Having an expert guide you and help tweak your direction is so valuable.

I was on a coaching call with a mentor the other day where he completed changed my next move. I could have spent so much time going in a different direction, but he knows my business and having him give me clarity saved me so much time.

I always ask myself what successful multimillionaires who earn a seven or eight-figure income do. I ask myself what they would spend their time on, and then I spend my time on that.

2) Critiquing

If you want to grow, you need to be able to receive feedback. Many people are not willing to accept feedback. They defend themselves, get offended, and they shut down. Feedback is someone’s gift to you. If you don’t take the gift, then it just drops to the floor and is wasted.

Our egos can be fragile. But if you don’t have someone that can critique your business and help you tweak it, it may take you years to progress in business. Having someone that can critique you, give you feedback and be someone you’re accountable to, is invaluable for your business.

3) Community

When I first started my business, I just did it on my own. I didn’t understand the importance of having a community.

I was living in London and New Zealand and I was struggling and feeling so alone, but I didn’t want to tell anyone how much I was struggling.

Having the right community around you challenges you, inspires you, champions you and holds you to a higher standard.

If you’re in a start-up stage, have people around you who are also in the start-up stage. You want people who can give you feedback, support you, and be a cheerleader and cheer you on.

You want people around you who inspire you because they’re also doing great things.

Join a group of a small inner circle, like a mastermind of people, where you are keeping each other accountable. In large Facebook groups, you don’t get the intentional planning and support that you do in a mastermind group.

I have a few mastermind groups, where each week, we have a person in the hot seat, who lays out their challenges, and other mastermind members give input. There’s incredible growth that happens in a mastermind group.

Having support in business is crucial.

If you need extra support and have not yet had a free clarity call with me, you can book in for a 45-minute clarity session here.
