The Mid-Year Momentum Reset

Being almost halfway through the year, it’s the perfect time to pause, reflect, and make any adjustments you want to for the second half of 2023.

You can carry valuable insights and lessons into the upcoming months by checking in on where you are and where you want to be.

I’m helping you reflect on the first half of the year, so you can look back at the lessons and the wisdom and take them into the second half of the year.

1. The What’s-Good Snapshot

Recognise and celebrate what’s working well in your business which will boost confidence, build momentum, and encourage continued success.

Reflect on wins, including running workshops, creating Facebook live videos, posting on social media, receiving mentorship, attending courses, and gaining new clients.

2. The Growth Reflection

Focus on areas for growth and improvement in your business.

Consider frustrations, misalignments, lessons learned, and your approach to the game of business.

Determine how you want to show up and make changes.

3. The Reframe Method

Challenge the problems by reframing beliefs.

Identify limiting beliefs causing stress or overwhelm and replace them with empowering beliefs.

Choose actions based on the new beliefs for a more positive outcome.

4. The Feel-Good Future

Define your vision for the remainder of the year.

Set a monthly average income goal and explore the importance of your work and its impact.

Emphasise the significance of making money matter and finding motivation beyond financial goals.

5. The Project Planner

Choose three significant projects for the upcoming quarter or second half of the year.

Examples include creating a new lead magnet, starting a Facebook group, or growing an existing group by a specific number of members.

Encourage limitless dreaming and tapping into your passion without constraints of money, energy, or time.

By following this Mid-Year Momentum Reset process, you can assess your achievements, identify areas for improvement, reframe limiting beliefs, envision a successful future, and plan impactful projects for your business.

How To Create More Authentic Connection & Sign More Clients

Do you avoid pursuing sales conversations because they make you feel uncomfortable?

We understand that sales are crucial for acquiring clients. Yet so many coaches tend to avoid sales conversations.

Sales calls can trigger fear of rejection, the perception of being a pushy salesperson, or a feeling of disappointment if someone doesn’t say yes.

However, without effective selling, we cannot achieve the freedom, impact, or income we want in our coaching businesses.

Selling is a vital skill for coaches. It’s where decisions are made and where our financial stability lies. It is what keeps our businesses alive and thriving, rather than us resorting to looking for a job.

How to create more authentic connection and sign more clients
Here are 3 things you need to do if you want to sign more clients and feel good in the process…

1. Hold the space for someone to move through the discomfort of change 

Selling is essentially inviting someone to change. That’s not always easy. 

People are thinking about whether to spend money, in the hope that they’re going to get a return on their investment and get their problem solved.

We only buy when we trust the person, feel met and understood, and feel confident enough that the person can deliver what they say they can. 

Connect with acceptance, warmth, and compassion, and really listen and be on their side. Be patient while they make the decision.  

2. Be detached from the outcome, and dedicated to the person

The sales conversation, if you do it right, is the first coaching session people have.

You’re on the same team – you’re not trying to convince them either way.

Don’t rush them to avoid your own discomfort. Guide them gently to help them make the right decision for them. 

The end goal of sales is to help people someone decide – to have a clear yes or no that they’re satisfied with.

3. Follow a structure to allow you to be more present

Following a clear structure in your sales conversations allows you to stay on track with the purpose of the call. 
 
When you know what to say, it gives you a feeling of relaxation so you can be more present with the person.

Focused questions in a specific order help someone make the right decision for them.

It means you can allow for tangents and natural flow, because you know how to gently bring people back on track.

It allows you to lead with confidence and give the person the feeling that they’re going on a journey.

The Number 1 Action That Will Double Your Income This Month

Want to make more money this month…without working harder and longer?

When it comes to generating a steady cashflow, business owners often have 3 main challenges:

1. Not enough leads: Without the ability to attract leads, your audience remains small, which results in minimal attention and engagement.

2. Low sales conversions: If you struggle to convert leads into clients, you end up with low sales. Low sales = low cashflow = no fun. 

3. Limited scalability: If you’re unable to get clients in a leveraged way, you can find yourself exhausted, burnt out, or stuck at the same level.

The number 1 action that will double your income this month
The #1 action that will double your income this month is: Make more offers.
Here are 3 things you can do to put this in place in your business…

1. Create value-add content 

Sharing valuable content builds trust and credibility. It also has the added benefit of being able to educate people on the benefits of what you do and overcome any limiting beliefs they have.

People need to be at a certain stage in the buyer’s journey before they’re ready to work with you. They need on average about 8 touch points in order to make a decision to buy.

If you share an offer too prematurely, you can put people off and cause a bad first impression.

2. Make an elegant invitation 

Once you have provided valuable content consistently, the next step is to offer an irresistible opportunity via email and social media.

This invitation should be exclusive and compelling and designed to specifically solve the biggest problems of your ideal clients. 

It should include a compelling outcome, qualifiers that make it exclusive, a set timeframe, scarcity, and a call to action that invites a direct response. I suggest using ‘reply to this email’ or ‘DM me’.

3. Send people a simple sales page 

I recommend using a plain Word document as your sale page for this process, instead of a complex landing page, which has a number of benefits:

  • It feels more like you’re providing an exclusive, private opportunity, rather than selling to the masses
     
  • It looks fresh, exciting, simple, uncomplicated, and clear
     
  • It’s different so it stands out and ‘disrupts’ what people would normally see 
     
  • It’s easier to create than a full-blown sales page so you can launch it faster
