The Thing I Didn’t Even Know I Needed That Helped Me 1.5x My Income

If you’re like many coaches, you’ve attended workshops, seminars, or bought online courses, filling notebooks with ideas and insights.

But despite your efforts, something’s missing. You have a real hunger to see more tangible results for all the effort you’ve put into learning.

Urgent things keep popping up and getting your focus and taking priority.

And those ideas keep getting pushed aside.

And the result? Fewer sales conversations, not as many clients as you’d like, and that gnawing feeling of your untapped potential.

I know this because I’ve been there too. Then I made one simple change that increased my income by 1.5x – without working longer hours.

In this video, I reveal the game-changing shift that transformed my business (and my income).

Let me tell you how it all began.

In November 2021, my friend Rhys messaged me on Facebook, and said, “Hey, there’s a workshop happening with a group of coaches. Wanna come as my guest?”

At first, I was skeptical. I’d attended so many workshops before, and I couldn’t help but wonder: Will this just be more information that I don’t have time to implement?

But Rhys seemed excited about it, and he’s someone I respect.

Looking back, that one decision changed the course of my business in so many ways I never expected.

Because when I joined that Zoom room, it was full of coaches. People who were doing similar kind of work as me, and most people had the same goals and challenges.

It felt like I’d finally found a place where everyone was speaking my language.

I didn’t just learn from the presenter – I learned from everyone.

No one was making excuses or getting stuck in stories about why things weren’t happening.

Instead, we all dove right in, rolling up our sleeves and putting in the work together. The energy was electric.

There was this contagious buzz as we collaborated, giving each other immediate input that took everything we were doing to the next level.

There is something so powerful about being surrounded by people who are committed, focused, and driven to succeed.

Being in that room helped me realise what I’d been missing: the power of a quality community of coaches.

When you’re around others who share your goals and are going through the same journey, something magical happens. Their energy lifts you up.

You feel motivated by seeing what they’re doing, and inspired to push yourself further. There’s an energy to co-working that inspires you to finish things.

Here’s the thing – if you’re constantly talking to people who don’t run their own business, you’re not going to get the advice you need to grow.

You’re going to be influenced by their mindset. And often – their mindset is very different to what is required to be successful as a coach.

But in a group of other coaches, you’re surrounded by like-minded people who get it, who can offer guidance and perspective that makes a real difference.

Surrounding yourself with successful people is one of the fastest ways to grow.

If you’re not part of a group experience, here are some problems you might be facing:

  1. Limited Network and Connections
“When you’re solo, you miss out on the support and connections that a group of like-minded coaches or entrepreneurs can provide. Those people offer inspiration, ideas, and invaluable feedback.
  2. Isolation and Lack of Community
“Without a community, it’s easy to feel isolated. You miss out on the shared knowledge and mutual encouragement that comes from being in a group.
  3. Limited Feedback Opportunities
Being Most people aren’t analysing what’s working and what’s not. Therefore, they’re not getting better – they’re not improving and progressing because they don’t know why it’s not working. So, they keep doing the same things and getting the same results.
  4. Less Accountability
Accountability is so powerful. In a group, you have people who help keep you on track, making sure you follow through on your goals. Alone, it’s much easier to procrastinate or lose momentum.
  5. Reduced Learning Opportunities
In a group, you get to learn from others’ experiences, successes, and mistakes. Alone, you’re limited to your own perspective, which can slow down your growth.

This all leads to slower growth and progress.

All these issues add up, and they can lead to significantly slower growth and limited progress.

That’s why I’m such a huge advocate for quality communities with people doing similar work to you.

And that’s what I want to offer you.

Next week I’m hosting a VIP Virtual Retreat for my members and I’d love to offer you a one-time free guest pass.

I Include THIS In All Of My Programs

What separates coaches who consistently get clients from those who don’t?

There’s one key element I’ve always included in all my programs – and it’s the exact reason my clients see incredible results.

And here’s the thing… most people completely overlook the power of this.

In this video, I reveal what separates coaches who consistently get clients from those who don’t.

Anyone can post online, but very few people know how to translate their online content into business.

There’s a significant difference between posting to entertain and posting to attract clients.

I’m pretty sure you know that content is one of the most effective client attractors there is.

Chances are, you’ve tried different things to get clients from your content, and it’s still not working to the fullest.

But posting online to entertain or inspire and posting get clients is a whole different skillset.

It’s a delicate sweet spot that very few coaches do well.

But what is missing for so many coaches and why their content isn’t working, when it comes to getting them clients, is personalised support and feedback.

There is a 97% failure rate on online courses.

That’s why I’ve always included such a high level of support in all of my programs.

If you don’t have an expert helping you uplevel your content, it can feel like you keep doing the same things over and over, hoping that eventually you’ll see different results.

And that can be super discouraging.

Building a business as a sole trader or a coach by yourself can be a very lonely and hard journey.

And without having an expert to support us, we can end up over-thinking everything and second-guessing what we’re doing. And means we can waste a lot of time.

Being in an environment where you get 2 key ingredients – support and expertise – is invaluable.

Without expert help, you can feel like you’re repeating the same actions without results. This can be discouraging.

When you have someone helping you, you can make the necessary adjustments that lead to conversions.

I regularly do content makeovers with clients, helping them fix what isn’t working.

It’s not just ‘here’s the rules of the game’.

It’s how to train yourself to become an expert at learning the tools.

I remember seeing this post from an older gentleman once where he said “Both myself and Serena Williams can play tennis – but our skill level is completely different. Hers wins her Wimbledon – mine is just for my own fun.”

The skill of great marketers comes from doing a lot of content creation – writing content becomes faster and easier because you’ve not just been taught the skills – you’ve honed and drilled the skills.

It becomes unconscious competence once you’ve learned the right skills.

So, I have a question for you – if you could get high-quality coaching clients whenever you wanted them, if you had that ability – How would that feel for you?

If you knew exactly how to do it over and over again.

How would you feel to be able to sit down anytime and know exactly what to say in your content and how to say it.

How would it feel if you actually nailed this skill?

For a lot of you, you just don’t know how great you are at what you do.

And when you have an expert helping you, things can turn around very quickly for you. It doesn’t have to take years.

I know that some of you are fully committed to making it happen and you want help with it.

You recognise that you need the skill set and the guidance and direction every step of the way.

And you want to be in an environment where you can be fully supported.

You know you need more help. You want someone to show you how to do it and walk with you step by step.

And we keep going until it works.

Maybe you want to get yourself out of the financial stress you’re in.

Maybe it’s really important to you to transform more lives.

The reality is, if you don’t put yourself in an environment of expert support, the likelihood of you achieving your vision drops dramatically. I think we all know that.

A consultancy agency called MicroMentor put out some research that showed that small to medium sized businesses who were mentored over a period of 12 months, had an increase in revenue of 83%.

83% increase when they got a mentor.

If you want to succeed, at some point you’ve got to be fully and properly trained in the skill of creating compelling content.

It is almost impossible to succeed if you

haven’t been professionally trained in it.

IMAGINE this actually working for you. Because it’s possible for you.

What would your life be like, to have your coaching program launched and sold? To be booked out with amazing clients?

Just take a moment to imagine that. Imagine your program being filled with clients you love working with.

Imagine the money coming into your bank account.
Transforming people’s lives.

The relief, the fulfilment, the joy that would come from having that.

That’s why I created a high-support program designed for women coaches to attract their ideal clients consistently.

Have you noticed that a lot of business programs teach what to do…

…but rarely show you the specific details of how to apply it to your unique business?

Most big companies share strategies, but don’t sit with you and actually help you implement them.

They don’t pick you up when you fall off track, and journey with you personally every step of the way.

I understand firsthand how crucial that personal guidance is when you’re building a coaching business.

When I first started, I didn’t have support and it took me far too long to realise that it was costing me a lot of time and money. I wasted thousands of dollars and countless hours trying to figure it all out on my own.

That’s why, once I cracked the code to consistently attract clients, I committed to offering exceptional personal support to women coaches, so they wouldn’t have to go through the same struggle.

This is what sets my programs apart

On an almost daily basis, I do content makeovers with clients where I look through their marketing and show them exactly what to fix.

If you know what to fix you give yourself the highest possible chance of converting your content to clients.

You know that you’re following that structure that’s proven – that’s been tested and measured by a whole heap of experience, and that’s what makes it predictable. And reliable – because you know exactly what to fix if it’s not working.

Some people blame the whole system or strategy, when it’s actually you who just haven’t got it working. And there are always things that we can fix.

Some of the amazing results my clients have achieved with this level of support (using the exact content techniques we cover in the program):

???? Jen generated over $12k and filled her program in just a few weeks, without any ads or cold DM’s.

???? Olivia successfully launched a new group program and enrolled 8 new clients in less than a week.

???? Kirsten achieved over $19k in sales in just 9 days, even with a small audience.

Seeking the right support can change everything for your coaching business.

But you need to make a decision to get help. Because we don’t know what we don’t know. We have blind spots. We don’t often know why something is not working.

So, my suggestion is, if you want to go out there and be successful, surround yourself with people who know how to get you there. And then learn everything you can and apply it.

Until we meet again, keep showing up, keep shining, keep sharing – the world is waiting for your words.

Big Love

5 Types Of Content That Consistently Attract Clients

Are you sharing content and hoping it will generate more leads?

Are you crossing your fingers, waiting to see results?

If your content isn’t working, one of the most frustrating challenges is not knowing how to fix it.

In this video, I break down the 5 types of content that my clients and I use to consistently grow our audience with the right people.

For someone to want to follow you, they need to trust you, feel a genuine connection with you, and see you as the logical solution to their problem.

With a clear and strategic content plan, you can create content that works, consistently.

Most coaches don’t realise that they’re missing 3 key content strategy essentials and it’s hurting their business growth.

One of crucial elements is diversity.

Using a variety of content types guides potential clients through a journey to working with you.

By strategically incorporating a mix of these content types, you can generate leads consistently, week after week.

There are 5 types of content that my clients and I use to consistently grow our audience with the right people. Each type has a different purpose.

If you start incorporating these different types of content and rotate between them, you give yourself a much higher chance of attracting leads consistently.

Here are the 5 types I recommend:

1. Engage

The purpose: Build community.

This is all about sparking conversations and making connections with your audience.

Invite them to get involved by discussing a topic, answering a question, or sharing a favorite. Whether it’s a quote, a book, or a podcast they love—it’s a great way to get people talking and feeling part of a community.

2. Educate

The purpose: Elevate your expertise.

This is where you get to teach and share your knowledge, which builds trust.

Talk about common myths or mistakes you’ve seen, share how-tos based on your personal experiences (not just what you found on Google or ChatGPT!), or answer frequently asked questions.

This is also a good time to challenge any limiting beliefs your audience might have.

3. Enlighten

The purpose: Show and demonstrate

Here’s where you let your personality shine and build rapport.

Share behind-the-scenes moments, highlight a success story, or celebrate a win—whether it’s yours or someone else’s. It’s all about creating those personal connections and being relatable.

4. Edutain

The purpose: Educate with entertainment

This is a fun mix of teaching and storytelling. You could share personal stories, struggles, or even offer your opinion on a trending topic. People love learning when they’re also entertained.

When you make your content engaging and memorable, it helps build deeper connections with your audience.

5. Exchange

The purpose: Invite action, convert into clients

Don’t be shy about inviting people to take the next step with you.

Whether it’s joining your program, signing up for a strategy session, or attending an event, make sure you’re offering value and a clear next step.

Some people give so much without ever making an offer, and others promote too much without offering enough value.

The key is finding a balance. Remember, making offers isn’t just about keeping your business going—it’s about helping people achieve real transformation.

In this session, we discussed different types of content.

You also need to know the structure of what to say and how to say it, in order to inspire action and have your content lead to clients.

If you want to know exactly how to do this, you’re invited to join us at my upcoming FREE workshop ‘How To Get Coaching Clients With Compelling Content’.

I’m diving deep into each of these pillars and showing you how to apply them in your business so you can attract more amazing clients while you’re talking about what you love.

This workshop takes the best of what I’ve learned from attracting clients consistently online over the last 8 years…
⠀
…and lays it all out in a simple formula that anyone can follow.

Check it out and reserve your seat at the FREE workshop

The journey is always easier and much faster with expert support guiding you every step of the way.

I’m my sharing my signature content creation formula, and how to use your content to enrol new clients into your program or services consistently.

3 Powerful Brain Triggers That Attract Your Ideal Clients

Have you ever felt like marketers have cracked a secret code that speaks directly to your thoughts?

For years, I noticed that there was certain content that drew me in, and other content that made me scroll past.

And I couldn’t figure out why. Until I studied how the brain processes information.

When you understand how to create content that’s structured to align with the brain’s natural processing, you get more people reading or watching your content.

This allows you to create content that’s compelling, and engaging, so you grow your audience, your followers, get more leads, and ultimately more clients.

Imagine being able to know exactly what needs to go into the structure of each of your content pieces so that it captures and maintains people’s attention.

Imagine seeing the number of high-quality potential clients booking into your calendar increasing every week.

If you want to attract more clients using your content, a really useful key is to look at the parts of the brain that we’re speaking to with our content.

Once you know how to speak to each of the parts of the brain, you can expect an increase in leads from your posts, your webpages, your emails, and everywhere you show up online.

There are 3 powerful brain triggers that you can tap into with your content.

Watch my latest video below

This is based on scientific research by Paul D MacLean who was an American physician and neuroscientist in the 1960’s and he introduced the ‘triune brain’ concept .

This describes the distinct layers of the brain. It’s become a widely used way of thinking about the overall functional organisation of the brain.

Some modern neuroscientists have said that there’s more to it than this – that this is overly simplified.

But when I learned this – and understood what was really happening at the brain level when people consume content – I started noticing an increase in response from my content.

And it’s simple to understand and apply.

The triune brain consists of:

1. The reptilian complex – which is in charge of survival instincts.

2. The limbic system – which is in charge of our imagination and emotions.

3. The neocortex, which is responsible for our objective, rational thoughts.

Why is this important to know and understand?

Because it can instantly transform how many people see and consume our content.

1. Instincts

At the base of the brain, is the reptilian complex, which is also known as the hind brain. It’s the oldest part of our brain and it’s responsible for our instincts.

It’s responsible for survival, which means that when we’re scrolling, looking at content – for example on websites, social media, email, YouTube – we’re operating with our hind brain.

The hind brain really reacts well to a few different things and it repels a few different things.

I go deep into this and how to apply it to get more clients from your content in my upcoming workshop, but I’ll cover a few briefly here today.

If you’d like to know more about how to do this, come to my workshop I’m diving deep into this.

You can sign up to the workshop here.

The hind brain responds to surprise, intrigue and curiosity.

It isn’t even logical what we stop scrolling on. It’s instinctual.

The hind brain loves simplicity.

So, the hooks at the start of our content need to speak to the hind brain.

Think about it like speaking to a 10-year old child level.

It’s always thinking – is this boring. Is this complicated?

So, how do we apply this in our content?

Ask this question: Is the question or statement at the beginning of your video or email or post too complicated, or too boring?

In order to grab attention, there needs to be absolutely no doubt in that person’s mind that this is going to be a good use of their time.

A lot of people are very logical at the beginning of their videos and posts and emails and they lose people.

If you just simply start cleaning some of this stuff up, it can make a massive difference in your engagement really quickly.

I remember one of my clients telling me that this was a game-changer for her. She had been writing long sentences at the start of her posts. And when we started making over her content, her engagement instantly increased.

2. Imagination

The second part of the brain is known as the limbic system or midbrain, which is the realm of the imagination.

So, once we get attention, we then need to create a feeling in people’s body.

We need to turn up the desire they have for the problem we help solve.

We need to create desire for them to actually want to do something.

The goal is to tap into the existing desires that they have, and dial them up.

When we’re strategic with our content and we evoke emotion, we build the desire that people already have to want to change.

To want to take that next step from where they are to where they want to be.

3. Intelligence

The third part to speak to is the intelligence.

Now we start appealing to the logical part of the brain.

Intelligence happens at the prefrontal cortex. This is the home of reasoning and logic and order and making sense of what we’re consuming.

It’s really important with this part of the brain that we back up what we’ve been sharing with rationale.

This is where we need to show that we’re trustworthy, that what we’re saying has evidence to back it up.

In this part of your content, show you have experience that what you’re saying actually works. It’s not fluffy, but based on facts.

This is tapping into the part of the brain that needs to know that they can trust you. That you have experience and credibility.

This is where we start to shift someone’s perspective.

That’s when you build trust through your content by providing great value, and people start to get more and more hooked on your content.

And they become not only just followers from a distance but fans.

They engage and reach out to you and, if you’re the right fit for what you offer, become clients.

The challenge is: it’s one thing to logically know it, it’s another thing to know how to use it in your content strategy.

It’s exciting what’s possible when you know how to apply this in your content.

So, if you want to know how to turn your content into clients using these brain-based principles, I’m sharing exactly how to do it in my upcoming workshop.

It’s a FREE live online workshop called:

‘How To Get Coaching Clients With Compelling Content’

where I’m showing you EXACTLY how you can easily attract high-quality clients consistently.

I’m diving deep into the exact 3 things to focus on in each section of your content to appeal to the 3 parts of the brain.

I’m giving loads of examples of how to do it, and you’ll start doing it on the day and I’ll help you step-by-step.

If you get this right…

1. Your audience will grow with raving fans that love you

2. People will reach out to you in dms and emails

3. You’ll Attract more ideal clients fast and consistently

And ultimately, you will fill your calendar and your events with quality clients.

3 Sneaky Content Mistakes That Cost You Clients (and how to fix them)

People with problems you can solve are wading through social media right now.

They are hanging for the help you provide, but most of them don’t realise the value of it.

If you can’t get your content to convert followers into clients, it usually comes down to some simple content mistakes.

It’s not because what you offer isn’t awesome, it’s because your words aren’t compelling the right people.

Compelling content strategically grows your audience, attracts your ideal clients, and inspires the right people to buy from you.

In this video, I uncover 3 Sneaky Content Mistakes that could be costing you clients – and trust me, these are the ones you don’t want to overlook!

Here are 3 Sneaky Content Mistakes that can cost you clients:

1. Focusing too much on engagement, not conversion

When we share content, we want people to like it. But it’s easy to get swept up with a focus on getting likes, rather than clients.

There’s so much content, especially on Instagram, that’s focused on how to get more followers, reach, or views. Which are important, but all of those things are focused on visibility, not sales.

Engagement (while it helps) isn’t everything. The most important question is whether you’re getting CLIENTS from your content.

Adding more people to your friend list or group won’t help if your content is not compelling the people you already have.

Spending too long creating entertaining content can be a distraction if you’re struggling to get clients.

When it comes to conversion, one ‘a-ha moment’ is worth 100 entertaining posts.

People might like entertaining posts, but that doesn’t mean they trust you enough to give you money.

2. Leaving people full, not hungry

The main job of your marketing content is to make people hungry, NOT full.

It’s important to give value in our content. But you can’t “give away everything” and leave nothing to be desired.

We can give away valuable content for free, AND leave them hungry for more.

If you’re not creating a feeling of curiosity for your audience, they will likely scroll away.

So, what do we do instead?

I call it the Value-Void dance.

You share value that helps them partially solve a problem they have, showing that you understand that problem completely and intimately – because you used to have the same problem.

Then you give them a piece of value to solve it.

But there’s a second important step. You then open up a NEW void.

It’s like opening a new door to a new problem.

The Value-Void dance.

This gives people a taste of what you can help them with, you can even help them solve micro problems they have – but to solve their biggest problem completely, they need to work with you.

Think about it – how often has your life transformed because you consumed one piece of content. It’s rare right?

The most transformational changes we make where change is powerful and lasting almost always happen when we invest and work with someone.

So, it’s doing people a disservice if they think that your free content can change their life.

It’s not authentic or true to pretend that your free content will do that.

When we give people the impression that it will, we’re not serving them to the highest level.

Give them a taste, help them solve a smaller problem, but show them that it’s a small part of the total transformation that you offer.

3. Posting stand-alone content, not moving people along a client journey

Posting one-off content pieces is fine – if the goal isn’t to use your content to get clients.

Sharing content that converts to clients is more strategic.

It’s not about just sharing a tip with a call to action to book a call with you, or come to your event, or sign up to your program.

It’s not just showing your offer over and over. We need to be more strategic than that.

Your entire content strategy needs to warm your audience up and move them through the stages of the client journey.

When you use your content strategically, people move through phases from awareness, to building trust, to making a buying decision.

It happens with a content strategy with multiple pieces of content that all have a job to do.

This part is particularly important when it comes to selling coaching services, courses or memberships – any services that are invisible or intangible.
This is what I call power content. It literally has a job to do to move people through the client journey.

Power content has a strong intention and message and shifts a belief. It drives a specific point.

The majority of your content piece should be on making people aware of the cause of their problem.

This is where we go deeper, and show that we understand the reason why they have the problem.

As we shift their beliefs, to bring more and more awareness to the cause of the problem, now they’re leaning in. Now they’re hungry.

If you want to attract clients that are serious about getting results, educate them on the real reasons why they don’t already have the results, and they will be inspired to work with you.

When you overcome these 3 mistakes and know exactly how to create compelling content, your marketing becomes easier, faster, and more enjoyable.

And most importantly, you attract more of the right clients into your business that you can help.

The good news is, you don’t need to be posting a ton of content. You just need to craft your words in a way that will have people hungry for what you have to offer.

When you create content strategically, you focus on quality over quantity.

If you want to know exactly how to do this, join us at our …
