The Surprising Reason Why You’re Not Attracting More Clients


Do you ever wonder why you’re not attracting more clients? 

Sometimes the reason is more mysterious than you may think.

Often we sabotage our success and we don’t even realise we’re doing it. 

There are specific reasons why you’re not attracting more clients and it’s different for everyone. 

If you’re not clear on the reason why you don’t have more clients, it’s hard to fix. Getting clarity and specificity is the best place to start.

In my latest video, I shared how to identify where you could be leaving money on the table and missing out on more clients.

For most people, the reason they’re not attracting more clients is because there’s something they’re avoiding – either consciously or unconsciously.

Visibility Is The Key

Think about this…

There’s a direct correlation between how many clients you have right now and how many times you have put yourself out there. 

Consistent content = Consistent clients

The Online Visibility Triad

There are 3 buckets you can be in when it comes to showing up…

  1. You don’t know what to do – so you’re not doing it
  2. You know what to do – but you’re not doing it
  3. You know what to do – and you’re doing it

Which bucket are you currently in? 

If you’re in bucket 2 or 3, in this video, I share with you how you can overcome your stuck-points.

There are things you need to know in every stage of the business journey and if you don’t get the sequence right and focus on taking the next best steps for you – it can feel impossible.

There are specific things you can do at YOUR stage in the business journey that moves you to your next level fast.

These fears hold us back from…

A. Learning more about the things that we need to know to attract more clients

Once we recognise the fear, we then need to identify the belief behind that fear. I suggest you do this with the question…

“In order to feel the fear, what must I be believing?”

Some questions to ask yourself to reveal any fears and limiting beliefs that are holding you back…

* Are you not doing more videos because you’re afraid of judgment or criticism?

* Are you not sharing more posts or sending more emails because you’re worried what you say won’t be valuable enough, or you won’t get enough engagement?

* Are you sabotaging myself by not showing up as often as you could be, or showing up not as you’re best because you’re exhausted (physically or mentally) and need a break?

* Are you spending too much time doing easy things because you don’t want to admit there are things you don’t know, or you’re avoiding the harder things?

* Are you waiting until you learn more before you get out there more?

* Are you scared of doing more marketing because that could lead to more sales calls – and at an unconscious level, you fear rejection?

* Do you fear success because if that next person does sign up, what if you’re not able to help them to get results?

* Are you pushing people away unconsciously, because you’re scared it will actually work and then you’ll have to go ‘all in’ on your business?

If you said yes to any of these questions, or if any other fear or limiting belief surfaced, what would you like to choose instead?

A helpful journal activity is to write all the reasons why it’s important to you to be more visible and attract more clients.

The Weekly Client Attraction Rhythm


Do you ever sit down at your computer and wonder what to focus on?

Out of all the things you could be doing in your business, sometimes it’s hard to know what are the things that are going to make the biggest difference.

I created a tool called ‘The Weekly Client Attraction Rhythm’ to help coaches and experts know exactly what to focus on each week. 

If you do to these actions consistently, it’s almost impossible for you not to get more clients.

Without a weekly plan…

  • You don’t know what to focus on…
  • You waste time in consume mode…
  • You don’t get consistent leads…

With a weekly plan…

  • You build strong business habits that you can rely on
  • You create assets that grow your business
  • You feel more in charge & in control

So in this video, I share with you 5 things you can do each week to get more leads for your coaching business.


So here are the 5 things you can do each week to get more leads… 


1. Create a Resource

A resource is a free gift that you can give to your community. 

I recommend that you leverage the content that you create for your paid community then people get to taste and see what you’re all about. 

You can invite them to your Facebook group or invite them to download something so they can go on your email list. 

You can then continue to look after them in their journey because not everybody is ready to buy. 


2. Share a Value Post

Share at least one great valuable post on social media, ideally more. Think about where you can post it besides just your personal profile, business page, or your Facebook group. 

Think about where you can go and help the neighbours – people hanging out in other people’s groups. Show up and share something super valuable in other people’s communities without offering anything.

This is about building a snowball effect that builds over time. 


3. Record a Live Video

Ideally record the video live because people start to rely on the time, especially if you do it consistently every week. More people will see it because they’ll get the notification from Facebook. 

If you’re not showing up on video, you’re practically invisible online and people can’t connect with you.

The more you do it the better you get at it.


4. Develop a Presentation

Imagine if every week you started developing a signature presentation – like a masterclass or workshop and it becomes an asset for you. 

You could develop the slides a bit more, include a new story, or a new metaphor and you find an image to go with it. 

You can also practice pieces of your talk – like your intro, or a certain content piece. The better you get at presentations, the more likely you’re going to get more clients that really connect and resonate with you. 


5. Send a Value Email

When you send emails out to your community which are valuable, people get used to opening your emails and receiving really great content. 

It’s a great way to build trust with consistency and also to stay top of mind with your ideal clients.

7 Keys To Growing Your Coaching Business


Do you want to progress in your coaching business?

Maybe you’d like to see your email list and Facebook group grow, but right now, things are stagnant.

You’d like to have more clients, but you’re feeling stuck. 

In this video, I share ‘7 Keys To Growing Your Coaching Business’.

These 7 keys fix 3 big mistakes that coaches make all the time when it comes to growing their coaching business. 

Mistake #1: Focusing on too many different things

I talk to a lot of coaches who are busy, but aren’t getting enough clients and cashflow.

They’re getting stuck in the details, and not spending enough time focusing on RGA’s – revenue-generating activities.

Mistake #2: Staying stuck doing the same strategies

Or using outdated strategies that don’t work anymore. For example, doing a lot of repetitive manual work, instead of installing automated systems to help your business grow.

Mistake #3: Spending too much time on one aspect of your business

If we don’t take the time to make sure every aspect of our business is working, and plugging up any leakages, opportunities can fall through the gaps. You’re left feeling frustrated and stuck.

So in this video, I share with you 7 things you can do to consistently grow your coaching business.


#1. Give More

The goal is to add value through your content and overall online presence. This can be in the form of live videos, emails, posts, messages, or by being helpful on other people’s posts and answering questions. 

It can be as simple as having conversations on social media, answering questions, and solving problems.

I’ve heard recommendations about holding back on value so that people want to pay you. I get that. But I’ve found that even if I share every day, it’s only a small percentage of what people need to grow their business.

And I’ve found that the more I give, the more clients I get.

People need to trust you before they think about working with you. And when you show up giving free value, you build trust.


#2. Decide More

If in business you made more and faster decisions, and you stopped doing the safe thing, your business would change.

Is it time to do the thing that you’ve been avoiding?

Is it time to do the thing that scares you?

Decide your next level and the single next action towards it. Then do that thing. Or set a date with a deadline that you’ll make that decision. 


#3. Show up More

If you show up more in business you’ll create more opportunities for people to find you. Ask yourself “How can I show up more consistently?”

Maybe you need to decide on a repeatable pattern that your ideal clients can rely on and create a routine. Be consistent so that people know when they can expect your wisdom, strategies, and inspiration.

Once you make yourself available on a reliable basis, your ideal clients will notice that and trust you more. 


#4. Reach Out More

Connect with more people. Imagine what would happen if you connected with people every day and asked them how they are.

There’s a great quote by Zig Ziglar that says, “If you help enough people get what they want, you will get what you want”.

So think, “How can I systemise this?”

Try not to just rely on your memory – you don’t want people to fall through the gaps but instead, be well looked after.


#5. Invest More

If you don’t invest in your business, it’s not going to grow. Sitting on your money doesn’t grow your business. You need to put money into your growth.

This could be coaching, education, design, marketing etc. so that you constantly up-level. 

You don’t reach your potential without a mentor. The most successful people have mentors and coaches and invest – they don’t just rely on free strategies.

Where do you need to invest to go to your next level?


#6. Expand More

Expanding more is about being in more places.

Business is a relationship game and it’s also a numbers game. More people need to know who you are. If they don’t know you, they can’t buy from you.

Make sure everyone has the chance to know you, everywhere! You’re probably really good at what you do, but not enough people know you so share in different places.

Don’t just hide behind your laptop. Get out there and meet people.

Magic happens when we connect with people. This can speed up trust and positioning like nothing else.


#7. Lead More

You’re the leader of your business. You’re the CEO. There’s no-one telling you what you have to do. 

How much time do you spend as the employee, and how much time do you spend as the CEO?

Your job is to carry the vision and deploy your assets – such as your time, money, and energy into where the business needs it most right now.

A good CEO doesn’t get caught up in stories and emotions, they lead and they get resourceful.

5 Ways To Stand Out On Social Media

A lot of coaches struggle to grow their business and get stuck thinking… ⠀⠀

  • They need to be up to date with all the fancy new tricks ⠀
  • They need to have thousands of followers⠀⠀
  • They need to post every day
  • They need to dance around and be hypey or gimmikey
  • They need to be louder, brighter or bolder⠀⠀

The truth is, you can grow a successful coaching business you love without doing any of those things.⠀⠀

After working with hundreds of coaches, I’ve found…

…it’s not about any of these things… it’s about knowing how to stand out online in a way that’s elegant and authentic.

The landscape is changing so fast with more and more people becoming coaches and heading online to do business.

That means, that you need to level up the way you engage with your audience, communicate your value, and how you can help them with your own unique brilliance.

If you get this right… 

1. Your audience will grow with raving fans that love you 

2. People will reach out to you in DMs and emails 

3. You’ll attract more soul mate clients fast and consistently 

…and ultimately, you will fill your calendar and your events with quality clients.

So how do you do this – how do you stand out in a crowd of coaches?

How do you build your coaching business when not many people know you?


There are 5 ways I recommend. The way I came up with these is by thinking:

  • “What is everyone else doing?” and
  • “How can I do things a bit differently?”


1. Speak to the driving forces of your ideal clients 

There are 4 driving forces:

  • Current frustrations
  • Future fears
  • Current desires
  • Current dreams

This is about being very specific in your language – not vague or wishy-washy.


2. Drop value bombs, without an ask 

This is about showing up and showering out your amazing brilliance, and there’s no ask.

A lot of people aren’t doing that. Most people are asking all the time. 

It takes thinking – but the people who take the time to do it and don’t just post for posting sake but have a great strategy for social media…

…they are the ones that stand out online. 


3. Use quality images and videos

Quality doesn’t mean perfection or highly polished. 

It does mean showing up as your best. Even if you’re sharing photos you’ve taken from your phone and recording videos on your laptop. 

The main thing is that you don’t share poor quality or old-school images and videos.


4. Be contrastive

Showing contrast is a great principle to apply in every aspect of our business. People buy into passion and fire. 

Go against a trend. Repel the wrong people. Ruffle some feathers if you have a strong stance on something.

Openly share your opinions. Be contrarian.

Show why you’re different. 

Ask yourself – how can I inspire people to take action by showing them the contrast between them staying the same vs. them taking action?


5. Unpack your ??????????

This is about showing people the real you. 

Then you will be in a unique category of ONE (not compared to thousands of other similar business owners).

To unpack your uniqueness, think about the things that you do that other people struggle to do, but you do it really naturally and really easily.

People pay really good money for people who work in their genius zone.
