Strawberries and ‘cream’
The protein ‘cream’ can be kept in the fridge for 2-3 days in a covered container and used as a dipper for other fruits or is lovely eaten plain. An ideal healthy sweet addition to a picnic or party.
500g low fat cottage cheese or quark
2 tsp vanilla essence
1/8 tsp stevia
2-3 Tbsp water
800g fresh strawberries, washed and gently dried
1. Blend cottage cheese, vanilla and stevia with a stick blender or food processor, adding water slowly to create the consistency you desire.
2. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes and serve with fresh strawberries.
